Greg Brown is in his second season with the New York Rangers. He spent the past 14 seasons on the coaching staff at Boston College. Brown has international coaching experience with Team USA. He was the assistant coach in the IIHF World Junior Championship (’14, ’17 and ’18), helping Team USA win a gold medal in 2017 and bronze in 2014.
Prior to his coaching career, Brown had a terrific professional, collegiate and international levels spanning two decades. Played three seasons (’86-’87, ’88-’89, ‘89- ’90) at Boston College. Wore the Team USA sweater as a player in the 1988 and 1992 Olympics. Following his collegiate career, Brown played 13 seasons of professional hockey including parts of four seasons in the NHL. He also played professional hockey in Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany during his career.
