In the first set, the guests manage to make the first breakthrough in the score (14:11). The teams go point to point, but Dynamo's own mistakes allow Zenit to get three set points at once (24:21). In the second game, the blue and white players reduce the number of their own mistakes and stabilize the serve. On the allotted balls, Zenit's forwards stick into the Dynamo block, and the advantage of the Muscovites is gradually growing. In the end, Konstantin Bryansky's team does not allow misfires and closes the game with a first–tempo attack from the blocker Ilya Vlasov - 25:20.
The third set is full of drama. In the middle of the game, Dynamo break ahead by several break points thanks to the pressure on the serve and successful attacks by Bogdan and diagonal Tsvetan Sokolov. Having received six set points at once, the blue and white make a number of unforced errors in various elements, however, with the score 24:23, libero Yevgeny Baranov successfully accepts the submission of the opponent's finisher Fedor Voronkov, binder Pavel Pankov takes Sokolov to a broken block, and the Bulgarian legionnaire does not leave a single chance to the guests' defense - 25:23 and 2:1 in favor of Dynamo.
By the middle of the third set, the blue and white conceded several break points, but on Sokolov's serves, the Muscovites literally turned the game around. Two aces and a successful attack by the Bulgarian, as well as an effective block by Vlasov, put Dynamo ahead (14:12).

In the future, Dynamo players fully practice each draw, and Pankov finds Sokolov's hot hand in the attack. It is the ace of the Bulgarian legionnaire who completes the meeting – 25:20 and 3:1.
Dynamo, following the results of two matches, go to the finals of the Бетсити Cup of Russia. Zenit-Kazan will be the opponent of the blue and white teams. The decisive match will take place on December 24.
