1500 hp 42-Litre (!!!) Packard-Bentley "Mavis" - V12 Engine Start-up & Sound - One-Off MONSTER! ⚠️

The Technical Museum of Sinsheim, Germany, returns to Auto e Moto d'Epoca in Italy with an extraordinary car, the Packard-Bentley "Mavis". This unique project was created by the Englishman Chris Williams and presented to the public in 2010. It's built using a 1930 Bentley 8-litre chassis on which a 42-litre Packard 4M-2500 V12 engine from an American boat used for patrol in World War II was installed. The engine develops 1500 Hp (1,100 kW) and 2700 Nm of maximum torque. The vehicle weighs 3 tons in total. It's interesting to know that the "Mavis", as this creation was called, has three petrol tanks of 245 litres each (!) and two oil tanks of 82 litres. Fuel consumption is 4.5 litres per 15 seconds...yes, you read that right! Enjoy! ????

Il Museo della Tecnica di Sinsheim, in Germenia, torna ad Auto e Moto d'Epoca in Italia con una vettura straordinaria, la Packard-Bentley "Mavis". Si tratta di un progetto realizzato in esemplare unico dall'inglese Chris Williams e presentato al pubblico nel 2010. E' costruito impiegando un telaio Bentley 8-Litri del 1930 su cui è stato installato un motore Packard 4M-2500 V12 da 42-litri proveniente da una barca americana usata per il pattugliamento nella seconda guerra mondiale. Il propulsore sviluppa 1500 Hp (1,100 kW) e 2700 Nm di coppia massima. Il veicolo in totale pesa 3 tonnellate. Interessante sapere che la "Mavis", così è stata chiamata questra creazione, adotta tre serbatoi di benzina da 245 litri ciascuno (!) e due serbatoio di olio da 82 litri. Il consumo di carburante è di 4,5 litri per 15 secondi...si, avete letto bene! Buona visione! ????
