The wrestling business is a far smaller world than it first appears. Over the years, thanks to the fact that so many wrestlers are working together across the world, most wrestlers get to know each other at one point or the other.
They grow close and this can lead to there being romantic relationships between different wrestlers.
However, with so many wrestling promotions across the world, often they may not be working together in the same wrestling promotion at the same time. On top of that, there can be further issues if the two wrestling promotions that they are working in just happen to be huge rivals who are looking to ensure that they are the top wrestling promotion in the world.
WWE and AEW have just such a rivalry at the moment. They are involved in a heated rivalry where each promotion is looking to outdo the other when it comes to making themselves recognized as the biggest promotions in the world.
With that being the case, this is Wrestling Hub and in this video, we will be talking about wrestlers split between WWE and AEW. We will be talking about couples and real-life siblings split between the two promotion, as well as one instance of lifelong friends who work in the two separate promotions.
Before we get into it, we have to make the honorable mention of Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona. The two met and have been in a relationship for a long time. However, Zack Ryder aka Matt Cardona were released last year from WWE during the company-wide cuts. During that time, Chelsea Green was retained by the company and has remained with WWE.
Matt Cardona has since gone on to wrestle in different promotions, and for a while he was wrestling in AEW. Cardona has since moved on from AEW, but for a moment he was wrestling in AEW while Green was in WWE.
