An update from the U.S. Women's National Team ahead of its 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship opener against Switzerland in Calgary, Alberta.

Team USA is looking to extend its gold-medal streak to six consecutive world championship titles, having claimed the tournament's top prize in each of the last five years and now a total of nine times (2005, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019).
