Speed & Style is a unique contest that pits two athletes on-course in a head-to-head battle that’s judged on both speed and style. Athletes compete against each other during a multi-lape race, and the first to cross the finish line receives a bonus. Freestyle ramps also are part of the course, and the athletes perform tricks each lap while racing against their opponent. Those tricks are judged, and that “Style” score is combined with their “Speed” tally to determine which athlete wins the heat.

Rules at Glance:
1 bracketed competition with 8 athletes. Each bracket is a 3 lap race on the competition course with each lap having 1 freestyle jump. Each lap will be scored by the three judges as the race progresses. At the conclusion of each bracket, each athlete will receive a race speed score, a race style score and a race overall score.
