There were still big celebrations during the Sepang weekend, though, with the reigning World Champions also in Greek-capital Athens - for the first of a series of new global fan experiences for sponsor Allwyn. McLaren was the F1 centrepiece at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens, and it brought top drivers and machinery, with Pato O’Ward driving 2023’s MCL60, a car that scored nine podiums. Before two-time World Champion Mika Häkkinen suited up to drive Ayrton Senna's legendary Honda-powered McLaren MP4/6 that won the team its fourth-straight title double in 1991.
