Finn Balor has had a very exciting 2019. It started with him defeating the likes of John Cena and becoming the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship. Along with that, he got a public endorsement by Cena. He had a tremendous showing at the Rumble, but came just a bit short. He beat Lesnar so hard that Lesnar was so weak that he couldn’t F-5 him and had to submit him with the kimura. He stepped down the card and has had a mildly interesting feud with Bobby Lashley which has seemingly culminated now with Balor’s victory over him and Lio Rush in a 2-on-1 handicap match. However, the question on everyone’s mind is why has this happened in such anti-climactic fashion?
