Players Who Should've LEFT This Summer XI!

On today’s XI, we run through some of the players who should have sought new clubs this summer. Our list includes some genuine superstars, with Paulo Dybala stuck on the sidelines at Juventus after links to Man United, and Christian Eriksen linked with a switch to Chelsea after falling out of favour at Inter. But we also have plenty of talented youngsters who have been displaced by new signings or are simply unfancied by their coaches. There’s Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was denied a move to Bayern Munich but is behind Werner, Pulisic, and Ziyech in the Chelsea pecking order; Riqui Puig, who has been kept out of the Barcelona lineup by Ronald Koeman; and Dean Henderson, who is still David de Gea’s backup at Old Trafford.

We also have John Stones and Alvaro Odriozola, forgotten at Man City and Real Madrid respectively, and two players left out of their club’s squads entirely: Arsenal’s Sokratis, and Napoli’s Arkadiuz Milik, who almost joined Tottenham.
