MY REACTION TO THE ENGLAND WORLD CUP SQUAD! | #WNTT

Joe’s back for a mid-week We Need To Talk Special, as Gareth Southgate has officially announced his 26 man England squad that he is taking to Qatar for the World Cup!

The biggest news is that James Maddison has been included in the squad, almost 3 years to the day of his last England cap after much debate as to whether he should go or not. Arsenal’s Ben White has also been confirmed to be going due to his excellent form at right-back whilst Newcastle striker Callum Wilson is also on the plane!

Conor Gallagher however is probably the biggest surprise inclusion ahead of the usually trusted James Ward-Prowse.

Unfortunately it’s bad news for Ivan Toney & Fikayo Tomori who have failed to make the trip despite the clamour for them to be included in the international set up.
