"Our latest Formula 1 2018 feature on McLaren F1 Team reserve driver Lando Norris.

Monaco this year held special memories for McLaren as the team celebrated 30 years since Ayrton Senna’s legendary 1988 pole lap in the dominant MP4/4 car - and 25 years since his final win there.

But, 2018’s on-track results didn’t match the occasion, 2-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso retiring with transmission issues and Stoffel Vandoorne finishing down the order in 14th place.

It was also a case of damage limitation for McLaren reserve driver Lando Norris, a sixth and third place enabling the Brit to retain his lead at the top of the Formula 2 standings. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments below…
