???? The road to the Breeders’ Cup World Championships is almost complete, with all 95 Challenge Series races run and an elite field of thoroughbreds preparing for battle at Keeneland next week.

???????? Matt Chapman heads to Ireland to visit Joseph O’Brien at his beautiful Kilkenny Stables. Just 18 years old when he rode St Nicholas Abbey to Breeders’ Cup Turf glory in 2011, Joseph went on to train Iridessa to win the 2019 Filly & Mare Turf at just 26. He is one of only two people, alongside Freddy Head, to have both ridden and trained a Breeders’ Cup winner.

???? Meanwhile, Britney Eurton rounds up the 2026 Challenge Series and looks back on the unforgettable Breeders’ Cup victories of Cody’s Wish, remembering the special bond with his namesake, Cody Dorman.

This is the fourth of six episodes in our countdown to the 2026 Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Keeneland on October 30–31. See you there next week! ????????
