The Hawks defeated the Suns, 118-112 tonight in Phoenix. John Collins led all scorers with 35 points (13-20 FG) to go with 16 points, with Trae Young adding 27 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds in the game. Trae Young extends his streak of games with at least 23 points and 8 assists as a rookie to 5 games, joining Oscar Robertson as the only players to accomplish such a streak of at least 5 games as a rookie (Robertson has 5 such streaks, including as many as 8 games.) Devin Booker led the Suns with 32 points (13-27 FG), 10 assists and 8 rebounds in the losing effort. With the win, the Hawks improve to 17-35 on the season while the Suns fall to 11-43.
