Ferrari Powered Toyota "GT-4586" - 9.000 Rpm/570Hp V8 Engine Swap - Ryan Tuerck's Drift Weapon!

I had the pleasure of filming this Ferrari Powered Toyota "GT-4586", it's the drift weapon of Formula D Ryan Tuerck' and is equipped with a Ferrari V8 engine. Yes, you understand right, an epic Swap was done by inserting the 458 Italia's naturally aspirated 4.5-litre engine inside a Toyota GT-86! The engine performance remained unchanged with 570hp at 9,000 rpm controlled by the MoTeC M142 unit which takes care of the direct petrol injection and throttle-by-wire systems. The seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox that originally fitted the Maranello car has been replaced with a five-speed racing sequential unit produced by Fortin and equipped with a Tilton clutch. There's a Tomei limited-slip differential; springs and shock absorbers are from the BC Racing DR series. The video was made during the 2019 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​(FOS) in England.
