It’s low expectations at Ferrari ahead of Imola, its first of two home events this year, with podiums “still a long way” off as the Prancing Horse gallops toward a new era of success from 2022.

Bahrain was a strong start for the legendary Scuderia, with its first double points since Turkey 2020, with Charles Leclerc sixth, Carlos Sainz eighth, the pair a minute on average behind the winner, Mercedes’ seven-time F1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, which is a lifetime in terms of pace deficit over a race distance.
