Beat The Bias: The Pioneers Revolutionising Football Media

Racism in football is about more than just high profile instances of abuse that hit the headlines. Racial bias in commentary, a lack of diversity in sports media, and structural inequality all serve to create an unequal playing field in our game.

A new generation of grassroots creators and collectives are carving out spaces to speak their own truths, changing the landscape and empowering the voices of the future.

EA SPORTS and COPA90 are committed to making changes within our organisations to promote genuine equality, diversity and inclusion and to supporting the inspirational crews, collectives and communities, who are already changing the landscape for future generations.

As part of our ongoing partnership, we’re creating a series of programmes to help provide sports media experience and insight for people who are significantly underrepresented in the industry.
