41° Rally Appennino Reggiano 2021 - Shakedown Highlights - CDS3 WRC, Fabia R5, Polo R5 & More!

This morning I had the pleasure of attending the Shakedown of the 41° Rally Appennino Reggiano 2021. A historic event in the panorama of Italian competitions hosts the fourth stage of the International Rally Cup (IRC). At the start, 71 crews with a good variety of cars, Citroen DS3 WRC, different Skoda Fabia R5, Polo R5, Clio S1600, Peugeot 208 Rally4, etc. Unfortunately, doing it only in the morning, I saw only a part of the competitors. I must admit, however, that the choice of the road section was spot on with every possible variable, straights, hairpin bends, fast curves, all with a nod to the public who was able to see excellent stretches of road in reasonable safety. Questa mattina ho avuto il piacere di assistere allo Shakedown del 41° Rally Appennino Reggiano 2021. Evento storico nel panorama delle competizioni italiane, ospita la quarta tappa dell'International Rally Cup (IRC). Al via 71 equipaggi con una buona varietà di vetture, Citroen DS3 WRC, diverse Skoda Fabia R5, Polo R5 , Clio S1600, Peugeot 208 Rally4, ecc. Facendo purtroppo solo la mattina ho visto solamente una parte dei concorrenti. Devo ammettere però che la scelta del tratto stradale è stata azzeccata con ogni possibile variabile, rettilinei, tornanti, curve veloci il tutto strizzando un'occhio al pubblico che ha potuto vedere ottimi tratti di strada in ragionevole sicurezza.
