Team USA scored five unanswered goals in a 5-2 win over Canada to close out the preliminary round of the 2022 IIHF Women’s World Championship. With the win, the U.S. finished the preliminary round with a perfect 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record and earned the top seed in the tournament ahead of a quarterfinal matchup with Hungary.
