In the New Years Eve showdown between the U.S. National Junior Team and Canada, the U.S. won 3-1. The Americans finish on the top of Group B and this is the first time the U.S. has won the group since 2011. Colin White, Jordan Greenway and Jeremy Bracco scored for the U.S. and goaltender Joseph Woll had an impressive performance for the U.S. stopping 24 out of the 25 shots he faced. The U.S. will play Switzerland in a quarterfinal game on January 2nd at 5:30 p.m. ET. The game will be live on NHL Network.
