10 Times WWE DOWNGRADED The LOOK OF A TITLE! - WWE Spinner Belt, WWE, Intercontinental Championship
WWE have too many titles. One of the reasons for this is that WWE can sell a lot of merch from their different titles, which is also a reason why these titles keep getting periodical facelifts. However, some of these design changes go better than the others. Recently, they seem to be going more towards the bad than the good. We are the Wrestling Hub and today we are talking about 10 Times WWE Downgraded the Look of A Title.
This is what gave us inspiration for this list, and why wouldn’t it? The new Intercontinental Championship is just another title that WWE have added in a move to make all their titles look largely homogenous. It is not an ugly title, but it is so bland compared to what came before it. While we will be talking about another IC design later in this list, the classic title with the white strap was the perfect throwback title in modern WWE, and one that the fans absolutely loved.
The new title has a soulless feel. It looks like another title pumped out of a factory line by the WWE. It was also obvious that WWE were moving on from the old title design because it was re-introduced to the WWE audience by Cody Rhodes. Pettiness means that WWE would ditch one of the best title designs they had for yet another dark and bland title.
