There has been a burgeoning belief that Vince McMahon’s company has a huge disconnect with its audiences, and that argument only got stronger after Royal Rumble for a number of years. Last year’s wins for Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka were almost anomalies, as neither Superstar was booed out of the building, so it remains to be seen if WWE can pull of another good Rumble after all the momentum it picked up at the last show.
