After his heart-wrenching penalty miss against Switzerland, Kylian Mbappé will look back on this summer’s tournament as a wasted opportunity, as he failed to score or inspire his side to victory in any game. Portuguese duo Ruben Dias and Bruno Fernandes will also be disappointed with their contribution – their performances were nowhere near the level they showcased for Man City and Man United in the Premier League over the last year.
