WWE promoted a major announcement heading into this week’s episode of Raw regarding the future of Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The announcement was expected to be a ratings ploy, but Lynch actually made a major announcement. Becky Lynch will be going on maternity leave from the WWE as she revealed that she is pregnant. She also went on to relinquish her Raw Women’s Championship and award it to Ms. Money in the Bank Asuka. This explains the lack of matches that Lynch has had since WrestleMania, and it will be interesting to see what the WWE does with the women of Raw from this point on. Wrestlers inside the WWE were overjoyed with the new and have taken to Twitter to express their joy and support for Lynch and her husband Seth Rollins.
