At the end of every winter, MLB players and coaches reunite in Arizona and Florida to commence Spring Training. Why does it last more than a month, and does it really help players that much? We dive into the history of Spring Training, digging into its origins when baseball players needed Spring Training in the early days of professional baseball. As the years have gone on, there have been wacky elements added (Will Ferrell playing in a game?
