The Rockets defeated the Warriors tonight in Oakland by a final score of 118-112 behind 23 points (7-18 FG) and a season-high 17 assists (most as a member of the Rockets) from Chris Paul. With his 17 assists, Paul became the 8th player in NBA history to reach 9,000 career assists. Eric Gordon added 25 points (8-20 FG) and 4 assists in the victory. Kevin Durant led the Warriors with 29 points (11-19 FG), to go with 4 rebounds and 3 assists, while Stephen Curry tallied 25 points (9-18 FG), 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Rockets improve to 34-25, while the Warriors fall to 42-17 on the season.
