Even though this move may seem very simple it is one of the most effective moves that any player can have in their arsenal. These are the type of moves your coach wants to see you doing.

In order to make this move effective, you have to become a threat on the court. You do that by taking and making shots. When you make shots you force your defender to respect your shot.

This will cause him to react, jump and try to contest your shots. By using simple pump fakes you'll be able to get him off balance so that you can attack.
