D’Angelo Russell scored a game-high 39 points (16-34 FG) for the Nets along with 9 rebounds and 8 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Trail Blazers improve to 46-27 and sit 0.5 games behind the 3rd place Rockets in the Western Conference, while the Nets fall to 38-37 on the season.
