F1’s 2021 season is set to be the longest-ever, its 23 rounds a new record: one more than was originally scheduled for this year, pre-COVID-19 - two more than 2019’s high-water mark.

And while the fans will no doubt be excited for even more racing. It will be punishing for the already stretched teams with two triple-headers separated by just a weekend after the summer break: starting in Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy, before Russia, Singapore and Japan.
