Leipzig, Germany, June 29, 2019 - The world champion coach praised the strong performance of his team Poland after their 3-1 victory against Germany in Leipzig on Saturday.

Poland coach Vital Heynen: "I'm very impressed! It was a very strong performance of my players, a lot of them are quite young and new on this level. But my team gets better and better! Even if I change the squad at each match. I hope this victory brings us to Chicago."

German coach Andrea Giani: "I'm really disappointed. We made too many mistakes, especially with our serves. Our team has to play with more stability, that's the task for the future."

German player Marcus Böhme: "It was great to play in front of such a great crowd. But we couldn't show our best performance, we played too inconsistently. We have a lot to work on in the future."
