In the summer of 2020, in the depths of a global pandemic, England, Scotland and Wales took the tough decision to pause their Sevens programmes.

For the players, with Tokyo on the horizon, this was seemingly the end of their Olympic dream.

But in December 2020, The National Lottery stepped forward to fund the men's and women's GB Sevens teams and reignite their Olympic dream.

Over the next four months, we'll be taking you behind the scenes on the journey with the men's and women's GB7s squads, as they build towards the Tokyo Olympics.
