Carlos Sainz and Ferrari SF21 (2021) at Fiorano Circuit - 2nd Training Day - January 25, 2023

Today, Wednesday, 25 January 2023, Carlos Sainz took to the track at the Fiorano circuit aboard the 2021 Ferrari SF21. The Spanish pilot completed many laps to prepare for the following Formula 1 season, starting with the official tests from 23 to 25 March in Bahrain. Sainz and Leclerc, we had recently seen them, in December, once again aboard the SF-75 at Ferrari's home track to continue the development of Pirelli wet tires for the upcoming 2023 season. Unfortunately, due to the regulations, using the last single-seater of the 2022 season, the SF-75, is impossible, but an older model can be used. After many track sessions with the glorious SF-71H, the Maranello team decided to "retire" the car by choosing the more recent SF21 single-seater. Enrico Cardile's single-seater adopts the Ferrari 065/6 1.6-litre V6 turbo hybrid engine coupled to an electronically controlled sequential semi-automatic gearbox comprising eight gears + reverse. Other construction features include a frame in composite material and carbon fibre, and the overall weight is 752 kg with water, oil and a driver. Enjoy! ????

Nella giornata di oggi, Mercoledì 25 Gennaio 2023, Carlos Sainz ha girato sul circuito di Fiorano a bordo della Ferrari SF21 del 2021. Il pilota spagnolo ha compiuto molti giri per prepararsi alla prossima stagione di Formula 1 che prenderà il via con i test ufficiali sal 23 al 25 Marzo in Bahrain. Sainz e Leclerc li avevamo visto di recente, a Dicembre, a bordo della SF-75 sempre sulla pista di casa della Ferrari per continuaro lo sviluppo degli pneumatici Pirelli da bagnato per l'imminente stagione 2023. Come da regolamento per queste giornate di allenamento non è possibile utilizzare l'ultima monoposto della stagione 2022, la SF-75 ma si può impiegare un modello più datato. Dopo tante sessioni di pista con la gloriosa SF-71H la Scuderia di Maranello ha deciso di "pensionare" la vettura scegliendo la più recente monoposto SF21. Progettata da Enrico Cardile adotta il motore Ferrari 065/6 da 1.6-Litri V6 turbo ibrido accoppiato ad un cambio semiautomatico sequenziale a controllo elettronico formato da 8 marce + retromarcia. Altre caratteristiche costruttive comprendono un telaio in materiale composito e fibra di carbonio ed il peso complessivo della monoposto è di 752Kg con acqua, olio e pilota. Buona visione! ????
