Kent faced an uphill task from the very start of their first game of the 2018 season, as they were bundled out for just 64 by Gloucestershire. To their credit they pulled themselves back into contention, removing Gloucestershire for 110. But their batting would once again let them down, and the visitors got over the line despite a final innings collapse.
