YOU CAN FLY! - JetPack Aviation JB11 - European Debut at 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The JetPack Aviation JB11 made its debut for the first time in Europe at the 2018 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It's finally the latest evolution of a special backpack made by the American company that allows a person, once worn, to fly! Yes, you understood correctly. The thrust is ensured by 6 small jet turbines, 4 for moving and 2 for the emergency, fueled by diesel or kerosene. The technical data are very interesting, as the manufacturer declares a maximum speed of 300km/h, a height of 3000 meters reachable and an operation of about 12 minutes. The JetPack is also equipped with parachutes for emergencies. The interesting thing is the fact of being approved by FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), the US agency that deals with the certifications of civil flight and they are studying its use in military areas.

Il JetPack Aviation JB11 ha fatto il suo debutto per la prima volta in Europa all'edizione 2018 del Goodwood Festival of Speed. Si tratta finalmente dell'ultima evoluzione di uno speciale zainetto realizzato dall'azienda americana che permette ad una persona, una volta indossato, di volare! Si, avete capito bene. La spinta viene assicurata da 6 piccole turbine a getto, 4 per muoversi e 2 per emergenza, alimentate a gasolio oppure cherosene. I dati tecnici sono molto interessanti, inquanto il costruttore dichiare una velocità massima di 300km/h, un'altezza raggiungibile di 3000 metri ed un funzionamento di circa 12 minuti. Lo zaino è dotato anche di paracadute per le emergenze. La cosa interessante è il fatto di essere omologato FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), l'ente statunitense che si occupa delle certificazioni di volo civile e se ne stanno studiando l'utilizzo anche in ambiti militare.
