A long-time NCAA bench boss who coached five members of Team Canada at Cornell University and has made three trips to the NCAA Frozen Four, Doug Derraugh is back with Canada’s National Women’s Team as an assistant coach after serving as head coach during the 2014-15 season. It is the third time the Arnprior, Ont., native has been part of the Team Canada coaching staff; he was also an assistant coach in 2011-12, helping Canada to its most recent gold medal at the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
