Probably this is the Porsche 911 (991) that one day we all have dreamed of seeing. I like to think that in Stuttgart headquarters they decided to do it and and make to compete at the 2017 WEC season. The video you see here refers to the prologue test that took place the first weekend of April at Monza racetrack. The particularity of this 911 is that the flat-six 4-liter dicect injection engine has been mounted in the central position and therefore no longer behind the rear axle. Of course the whole car has undergone radical changes, from the bodywork to the suspensions. They take care to the aerodynamic using wings and a rear diffuser derived from studies on the 919 Hybrid. With a power of 510hp and a weight of 1.240 kg it's ready to battle against the Ford GT and Ferrari 488 in the LM GTE Pro category. I love the sound, reminds me the angry 70s Porsche 911 RSR.

Probabilmente questa è la Porsche 911 (991) che un giorno tutti abbiamo sognato di vedere. Mi piace pensare che la casa di Stoccarda si sia decisa a farla e di schierarla nel campionato 2017 del WEC. Il video che vedete si riferisce ai test del prologo che si sono svolti il primo weekend di Aprile sulla pista di Monza. La particolarità risiede nel montare il motore 6 cilindri flat-six da 4 litri di cilindrata ad iniezione diretta di benzina in posizione centrale e quindi non più dietro all'asse posteriore. Naturalmente tutta la vettura ha subito radicali cambiamenti, dalla carrozzeria alle sospensioni. Molto curata l'aerodinamica che usa ali ed un estrattore posteriore ricavato da studi esehuiti sulla 919 Hybrid. Con una potenza di circa 510cv ed un peso di 1.240kg è pronta a battagliare contro la Ford GT e la Ferrari 488 nella categoria LMGTE Pro. Amo il suono di questa vettura, in parte simile alle rabbiose Porsche 911 RSR degli anni '70.
