After a surprising 6-0 loss to Serra, the Lancers bounced back with a 9-0 win over SHC, a 5-2 win over league rival Bellarmine and a thrilling 10 inning showdown with Valley Christian which ended with a Jeremy Ydens's walk of HR.

And speaking of Ydens, the junior standout led the Lancers to a 3-2 victory over JSerra in the championship game of the 2015 Boras Classic.

Ydens pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and two runs with five strikeouts.

Thirty-two elite high school baseball teams from California competed for one championship at the 3rd Annual Boras Classic of California 2015. JSerra, who is nationally ranked and at the top of the California HS Baseball rankings, represented Southern California. Saint Francis, the number 10 team in the state, was the underdog coming in but the Lancers managed to edge out the Lions in the seventh inning scoring two runs.

Senior Devon Canty delivered two RBI's to secure the title of "State Champions" for the Lancers.
