The Real Reason Why Randy Orton WASN’T CHOSEN FOR SMACKDOWN’S SURVIVOR SERIES TEAM!

While Raw has declared three of its members, Smackdown Live finalized its team, with The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe and Shane McMahon rounding up the team. A notable exception is Randy Orton, who has arguably been a staple of Survivor Series since 2004. So, it is very surprising to see The Viper not on the team, with the possibility of him not being on the card altogether. On this week’s Smackdown Live, the Apex Predator appeared to hit Rey Mysterio with an RKO outta nowhere, after Mysterio picked up a hard-fought win against a very game Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas. While Orton’s character spent a lot time being stale and largely disinteresting, he got a second-wind during his feud with Jeff Hardy, with his character morphing into someone who targeted and tortured fan-favorites. So, it is not surprising that he has turned his attention to Rey Mysterio in recent weeks, as the star is one of the most beloved Superstars on the entire roster.
