The Rockets set a new NBA record for three-pointers made in a game (27-57, 47.4%) as part of a season-high 149 points in a 149-113 victory over the Suns. James Harden led all scorers with 30 points (10-14 FG, 5-6 3pt FG), along with 13 rebounds and 9 assists for the Rockets, while Eric Gordon totaled 26 points (career-high tying 8-13 3pt FG) in the victory. Harden has now scored at least 30 points in 56 games this season. That ties the most 30-point games in one season for any player over the last 30 years (Kobe Bryant, 56 in 2005-06). Additionally, the Rockets recorded a season-high 34 assists in the victory. Jamal Crawford led the Suns with 27 points and 6 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Rockets improve to 53-28, while the Suns fall to 19-62 on the season.
