The Spurs defeated the Hornets, 106-96. Quinndary Weatherspoon (6-14 FG, 7 rebounds, 2 steals) and Keldon Johnson (6-10 FG, 4 rebounds) led the Spurs with 19 points apiece in the victory. Miles Bridges led all scorers with 23 points (8-14 FG, 4-9 3pt FG), to go with 7 rebounds and 3 steals for the Hornets, while Cody Martin finished with 15 points (5-10 FG) and 3 rebounds in the losing effort. With the win, the Spurs improve to 1-1, while the Hornets fall to 1-1 in the MGM Resorts Summer League 2019.
