Terrence Ross led all scorers with 21 points (8-15 FG) for the Magic, while Nikola Vucevic added 17 points (7-13 FG), 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the victory. Malik Monk led the Hornets with 15 points (7-16 FG), to go with 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the losing effort. The Magic led by as many as 40 in this game, their largest lead at any point this season. The Magic have now won five consecutive games for the first time since 11/25-12/3/2015 as they improve to 27-32, while the Hornets fall to 27-30 on the season.
