Undefeated Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) defends his WBA, IBF and WBC world middleweight titles against two-time world title challenger Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan (36-3-1, 21 KOs). The event will take place saturday, May 5, under the stars at StubHub Center in Carson, California, live on HBO beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Originally GGG would face Saul "Canelo" Alvarez but their match was canceled after the Mexican star failed two drug tests with traces of banned substance clenbuterol being detected. 

Irland's Gary O’Sullivan (27-2-0, 19 KOs) was one of the names considered to fight GGG on May 5th. Sullivan, will be on action this "Cinco de Mayo" weekend in a Golden Boy Promotions' event at the Stubhub center.
