The Bulls were led by Zach LaVine who finished with 28 points (10-17 FG), as Lauri Markkanen added 16 points (6-14 FG) and 7 rebounds in the losing effort. Karl-Anthony Towns reached 6000 points tonight, in his 280th game in the NBA, after hitting the 3000-rebound mark earlier this season in his 259th game; the last player to reach both 6000 points and 3000 rebounds in 280-or-fewer games was Tim Duncan (275 games). With the win the Timberwolves improve to 16-18, while the Bulls fall to 9-26 on the season.
