The Rockets defeated the Thunder, 113-109 tonight in Houston. James Harden led the Rockets with 41 points (7th 40+ point game of the season – most in the NBA) along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists, while Clint Capela tallied 16 points and 23 rebounds (most by any active player on Christmas). The Thunder were led by Paul George who finished with 28 points (10-25 FG) and 14 rebounds, as Russell Westbrook added 21 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals in the losing effort. With the win the Rockets improve to 18-15, while the Thunder fall to 21-12 on the season.
