descBen Simmons recorded his first career 20-20 game with 20 points (10-13 FG), 22 rebounds and 9 assists, as the 76ers defeated the Knicks 108-105 tonight in New York. Simmons joins four hall-of-famers (Elgin Baylor, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain & Jerry Lucas) as one of the only players to record as many PTS/REB/AST in a regular season game at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks were led by Kevin Knox who recorded a career-high 31 points (12-23 FG) along with 7 rebounds, the first 30+ point game of his career. With the win the 76ers improve to 28-16, while the Knicks fall to 10-33 on the season. ription
