England recorded their highest ODI score against the Aussies in a highly entertaining encounter in Cardiff. Jason Roy struck his 5th ODI hundred to propell England up to a daunting 342-8, aided by 91 not out from stand-in skipper Jos Buttler. Australia made a strong fist of the chase thanks to Shaun Marsh’s 131, but fell 38 runs short of England’s total. The hosts now lead the series 2-0 after two matches.
