DTM Misano 2018, Italy - Highlights Night Races 1 & 2 - Crash, Massive Flames, Sparks & More!

The DTM returns after a few years in Italy and chose the Misano World Circuit. Not only that, other news is the fact of the race at night, the only stage held at these conditions, ever! All this made the show very suggestive and we could admire the big exhaust flames, the sparks generated by the car bodies on the curbs and in some cases also the glowing brakes. Italian legendary driver Alex Zanardi, who despite the 50 years has well figured, even coming to the 5th place in race 2 on his BMW M4 DTM. Combined and spectacular races, the 2018 season that sees the V8 engines being used for the last time, regulations will be different from next year. Last year also for the Mercedes that from 2019 will no longer participate in the championship.

Il DTM ritorna dopo alcuni anni in Italia e lo fa scegliendo l'autodromo Misano World Circuit. Non solo, altra novità è il fatto di correre in notturna, unica gara svoltasi in questi orari. Tutto questo ha reso lo spettacolo molto suggestivo e si sono potute ammirare le grosse fiamme agli scarichi, le scintille generate dalle scocche delle vetture sui cordoli ed in alcuni casi anche i dischi dei freni incandescenti. Portacolori italiani il mitico Alex Zanardi che nonostante gli oltre 50 anni ha ben figurato in gara giungiendo addirittura al 5° posto sulla sua BMW M4 DTM. Gare combattute e spettacolari, stagione 2018 quella che vede impiegati per l'ultima volta i motori V8, dal prossimo anno i regolamenti saranno differenti. Ultimo anno anche per la Mercedes che dal 2019 non parteciperà più al campionato.
