Ben Duckett hits 178* on day one - Northants v Sussex

Ben Duckett made a sparkling fifth County Championship century as Northamptonshire dominated the opening day against Sussex at Wantage Road, making 296 for two having been asked to bat first.

His 178 not out was a first-class best and allowed Northamptonshire to enjoy a fine opening to the new season against one of the favourites for the Specsavers County Championship Division Two title.
