What’s up guys! I have a treat for you today. Not only am I going to show you some great drills you can add to your workouts but we also have some behind the scene footage from when we were at the gym.

Drill #1 00:18 - 1:54
We start the video off with attacks from the top of the wing to each elbow. We want a hard sweep low at the top of the key towards the elbow where we will change speeds with the Isaiah Thomas type hesitation move, getting to the basket and finishing.

*Make 10 reps going each direction

Drill #2 1:55 - 3:19
Next drill develops a counter move for the last drill. The attack at the top is the same but this time inside of hesitating and going to the basket, you are going to hesitate and then stepback.

*Make 10 reps going each direction

Drill #3 3:20 - 5:02

In this next drill we work on pull ups in transition off the catch. The goal here is to come in at a decent pace then as soon as you catch the ball explode into your shot. Try to cover as much space as possible.

*Make 10 reps each side (5 going right, 5 going left)

Drill #4 5:03 - 6:23

Similar to the first 2 drills, this drill is a counter to the last drill. So this time you will have the same attack off the catch but then you will step back into your shot.

*Make 10 reps each side (5 going right, 5 going left)

INVASION - We Get Taken Over By Kids At The Gym 6:25 - 9:19

While we were shooting, word got around that I was in the gym and the kids wanted to come by and show their support. It was such an amazing experience and great to see this ILoveBasketball Family growing. One kid even wanted to play me :)

Drill #5 9:20- 10:50

In this final drill we attack with a conditioning finisher. This is the end of a pretty strenuous workout with Maurice - so it tests mental focus as well as conditioning. All you are going to do here is start on a sideline, drive baseline, finish and sprint to the other side and do it again.
