WWE went from being super predictable during the era of wrestlers like John Cena on top, but did add unpredictability to their product sometime around 2016, when wrestlers like Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles were edging towards the top of the WWE echelon, however, we've fallen back into that beaten part of predictability in 2018. Even though we've had a couple of shocks this year, primarily Lesnar dispatching Reigns comfortably at WrestleMania 34 and Daniel Bryan defeating AJ Styles to become WWE Champion. But apart from that, WWE has been so stale and predictable that WWE's ratings have been freefaling.
