Ever since Kofi Kingston replaced Mustafa Ali as an entrant in the Elimination Chamber match, he has embarked on the greatest run in his career. On the February 12th episode of Smackdown Live, Kingston pinned Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe in a gauntlet match that saw the member of the New Day last an hour in the ring. In one hour, Kingston went from being one of the guys in the New Day, to a legitimate contender for the WWE Championship. At the Elimination Chamber, Kingston entered third and lasted all the way till the end. Kingston and Bryan had a fantastic final sequence that saw the WWE Universe completely get behind the Ghanaian Superstar. He came up short at the event, but after picking up the win for his tag-team this week on Smackdown, Shane McMahon announced that Bryan would be defending his title against Kingston in a one-on-one match at Fastlane.
